Current job (2021): Director of the strategic resource group at Thomas H. Lee Partners, a private equity firm in Boston, Massachusetts.
On ethical leadership: “I was lucky enough while at Tuck to be invited to join the McGowan community, which I found so special given its focus on ethical leadership. I was raised by the Golden Rule—treat others as you wish to be treated, and I believe the world (both in business and beyond) would be a better place if all of our leaders acted with that kind of empathetic and conscious leadership.”
On the fellowship: “The McGowan community is a special one. It’s a group of like-minded leaders who are down-to-earth, humble, good people who care about one another and care about the impact they have on society. What I’ve learned from the McGowan fellowship is to have the confidence to lead with your value system, no matter what level you are in your career.”
Outside of work: “First and foremost, I’m a husband and a father. That said, I still find time for soccer and have started to pick up rock climbing. Our family is also a big supporter of AccesSportAmerica, an organization that teaches adaptive sports to kids and adults with disabilities.”
Looking forward: “I want to eventually lead an organization that is viewed as a supportive employer and a positive addition to its community.”
